Organic pollen and perga group is obtained from the plateau with a multi-flower (polyflora) structure and, like Organic Royal Jelly, it is produced and packaged in accordance with organic agriculture laws, pure and unprocessed. Organic Propolis, on the other hand, is obtained from our apiary in raw form and is produced and analyzed by our food R&D company in Bursa with two different methods, based on alcohol and water, under the Consultancy of Uludağ University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.

Organic Apitherapy Mixtures

While presenting bee products such as honey, pollen, royal jelly and propolis in pure form, we wanted to offer different alternatives for both children and adults. In this way, we wanted to provide the opportunity to consume more than one bee product together and to consume them more easily in terms of taste and storage condition. For now, we create different alternatives with 3 different mixture products and offer them to your liking.

Umay history

This is actually a journey that begins in the vast mountains of Zara. The reflection of a young man's determination to learn and teach, who was a village teacher at a young age. Zara people know, but would you like to listen to us? Who are we, what are we doing on the mountain tops? We wanted to explain ourselves briefly.

Teacher Mürteza from Zara

Mürteza Üstündağ was born in Devekse Village in 1930 as one of the 5 children of a family engaged in agriculture, connected to the Zara district of Sivas ... While she was still in primary school, she left her village and started studying at Pamukpınar Village Institute. He started life as a young and idealistic teacher in 1948, and throughout his life he passed on all kinds of technical knowledge he had learned, from livestock farming to farming. He was responsible for this.

With the same determination, he started "technical beekeeping" in the Zara region in 1959, by taking over the beekeeping, which was an old type and inefficient structure until that date. It both learns and teaches for over 30 years. So much so that it is the Mürteza Teacher of the beekeepers in Zara who has been mentioned with his honey nowadays.

The Children of the Village Teacher

Maybe beekeeping is a disease, once you get infected you cannot quit. Some of his children become engineers, some are teachers, some are craftsmen ... But that's the word, the living on that mountain will never prosper again. They also get into this. A nomadic life is lived every summer for years. Grandchildren grow up in a life that spends a few tents and on the tops of the mountains. They are also transmitted to beekeeping. The aim is the same, to be a producer! Adding value to labor

Umay

As time progresses, both the world and people change. Now there are markets, big companies ... Children who continue the business they took over from their fathers also see this situation. Next comes the 3rd generation. The grandchildren, who joined them in the mountains of Zara, who later grew up and became engineers, shoulder this effort. This is how Umay is born in 2014 ... They establish a company for the first time and apply for an organic agriculture certificate in the same year. Organic beekeeping activities have been continuing since 2015. They are certified by CERES according to Turkey and the EU organic agriculture rules.

Sivas - Zara

Our apiary is located in Sivas Zara plateaus. Zara springs, which are one of the rare regions suitable for the Organic Beekeeping Law, have an altitude of about 2000 meters. Day and night temperature differences are high. The fact that it has different types of plants and endemic flora due to its height and location causes the honey produced to have a unique structure. Apart from many plants such as thyme, mint, honeybee, hyacinth, stone clover, keven, clover, wild bushes, there are also plants specific to the region, such as Achiilea Sintenisii.

Organic Beekeeping

Both our company and our apiary are audited by Germany-based CERES company in accordance with the "Organic Agriculture Law". Republic of Turkey outside the Organic Agriculture Law "European Union Organic Agriculture Law" being examined in the framework and certified. Preventing the contact of bees with pesticides is one of the main purposes in organic beekeeping. The spraying of agricultural land is very dangerous for these drugs to infect flowers and bees. In order to prevent this situation, the existence of possible agricultural lands around the apiary is controlled by the auditors.

Special Hives

Hive structures and tools used; Since scientific hives are generally made of wood, the hive is coated with protective chemicals such as oil paint in order to prevent the decay of wood in nature. Organic Beekeeping rules do not accept this situation. All areas where the bee can be in contact and the hives that are their habitat cannot come into contact with chemical products. For this reason, all of our hives in our apiary are produced purely from relatively long-lasting trees without paint and protective coatings.
